In the grand stage of life, we occupy a space so small, almost as tiny as an anthill. Yet, within this fleeting arena, your soul carries its weight, and your existence will traverse an average span of about seventy years. The concrete, tangible aspects of your being cannot endure forever. To expect that your emotions, your insights, or your understanding will be permanently preserved is nothing more than a utopian illusion.
Every person you encounter, every experience you cherish, every affection you hold dear – one day, they will leave your life. Your own heart, which today feels everything intensely, will eventually let go, as all things inevitably fade. The loves that have ended, the friendships that have drifted apart, the passions that have been fulfilled – each enters your life at the right time, plays its role on your stage, and eventually exits, leaving the scene behind.
The audience (life itself) simply flows, uninterrupted. And long after all the scenes have played out, the curtains of that particular stage will fall, though you cannot know in advance the exact day it will happen. Learn to attune yourself to the passing moments, for no second is truly small. Each fleeting moment, no matter how subtle, carries its own weight, its own significance. Embrace them, observe them, and allow life to unfold its drama naturally, without clinging too tightly.
In this delicate theater of existence, the transient nature of everything is not a cause for despair but a call to presence. Cherish the small interactions, the brief encounters, the whispered thoughts, and quiet reflections. They may seem insignificant now, yet they compose the subtle, intricate layers of your story – the very essence of being fully alive in your brief, remarkable act on this vast, mysterious stage.
